🌞 Sip, snip, and celebrate! This handmade card was such a joy to create — a sweet little pocket of bright coloured fun! I started with a bold pink polka dot background, then folded up some green patterned paper, with gorgeous flowers on the reverse, into a mini envelope, perfect for tucking in tags and tiny love notes. The watercolor lemonade panel adds a juicy splash of sunshine 🍋☀️, complete with a stamped citrus slice and umbrella. Every piece is hand-stamped, and put together with love. Because nothing says “Let’s Celebrate!” like something made from the heart ❤️

This weekend wasn’t glamorous, but it was full.

This weekend wasn’t glamorous, but it was full.
Full of moving classroom furniture back into freshly laid Lino and carpet,
Full of paper scraps from card making (aka my happy mess),
Full of salty air and sandy feet watching my kids ride waves like pros,
Full of chocolate slice and banana muffins cooling on the counter for school lunches,
Full of dirt under my nails from the garden and plans under my pen for the classroom.

This is the season of showing up in all the roles — teacher, mum, card maker, homemaker — and letting it be imperfect, but deeply meaningful.
Not every moment is Instagram-worthy, but every one of them matters. 💛

This handmade card came together with a burst of colour, texture, and a little creative risk-taking.

🩷 Spotlight on that jar!
Stamped in Lost Lagoon and punched to perfection — I love how the jar stands out as a sweet focal point. I don’t have Cloud Cover, but Lost Lagoon brought just the right depth and contrast!

🌸 Pattern Party!
Layered florals, a touch of fruity fun, and a strip of bright orange bring energy to the base. Who says you can’t mix patterns? 🎨

🎀 Finishing Touches
A glitter ribbon, mini tag stamped with “thank you,” and notebook-edge details all add dimension and charm. This one’s going straight into the “send to an amazing customer” stash.

I imagine it tied to a jar of homemade cookies, a bunch of fresh blooms, or a wrapped book for a dear friend. Just a tiny handmade detail that says you matter.
