The beauty of Sweet Sorbet…Ah, sweet sorbet how I’m going to miss you! Just the mention of it brings to mind images of a delicious berry smoothie, it is as delicious as it sounds. This gorgeous hue, is reminiscent of a summer sunset or a scoop of fruity gelato and adds a touch of elegance and whimsy to any papercraft project.

Introduced in the January to April mini-catalogue it is exciting to find out that the Hot Air Balloon Stamp Set and Dies are carrying over into the 2024 – 2025 Annual Catalogue! This charming set features two step stamping, allowing you to take your paper crafting to new heights – quite literally! Picture this: a card adorned with a cluster of hot air balloons floating across a dreamy sky. The possibilities are endless with this stamp set. You can create scenes of adventure, romance, or even whimsical fantasy. Let your imagination soar as you explore the many ways to use these delightful stamps and dies.
What You Need
Cut your card stock into pieces.
Sweet Sorbet card stock:
- Card base – 14.8 cm x 10.5 cm
- Scrap for punch shape and to stamp hot air balloon and basket on
- 12.8 cm x 2 cm
- 12.8 cm x 8.5 cm
Hot Air Balloon Patterned Paper:
- Hot air balloon images
- Envelope flap – 16.3 cm x 4 cm
Sweet Sorbet Colour Card Recipe
This tutorial is so quick and easy! You’ll creating a whole set in no time at all!
- Burnish the fold of the Sweet Sorbet card stock with a bone folder.
- Adhere the patterned paper to the card base with Multipurpose glue.
- Stamp the sentiment to the Daffodil Delight strip and adhere to the card front (as shown).
- Adhere the punched shape (as shown) to the card front with Multipurpose glue.
- Fussy cut the images of the hot air balloons from the patterned paper. Don’t forget the inside of the card.
- Adhere the hot air balloons using Dimensionals to the card front.
- If desired, add some bling (embellishments) to your card front.
- Adhere a few hot air balloons to the inside panel of the card with Multipurpose glue and trim where the images come off the card.
- Adhere the white panel to the inside the card with Multipurpose glue.
