There is something so satisfying about a card that looks gorgeous but takes hardly any time to make!

Today’s creations are proof that you don’t need complicated techniques, fancy folds or years of card-making experience to create something absolutely adorable. These two little strawberry cards are quick, easy and beginner-friendly… but still cute enough to make you feel like a crafty superstar.
And honestly? We all need projects like that in our lives!
I recently shared this design as a make and take over the weekend and everyone absolutely adored the strawberry theme. There was just something about those sweet little strawberries that made people smile.
(And can we all agree that strawberries somehow make everything feel extra cheerful?!)
What I really loved about this design was how easy it was to adapt. A strip of patterned paper or embossing? And with just a simple sentiment change, we could turn the same basic layout from a thank you card into a sweet love card.

Easy crafting = happy crafter.
As I was finishing the samples for the make and take class, I had one of those little crafty lightbulb moments…
You know the ones!
I suddenly thought, “Hang on… these would make the CUTEST customer thank you cards!”
And because this design is quick, simple and easy to batch create, I actually followed through on the idea (which feels like a small miracle during school term 😂).
So… everyone who places an order through my Stampin’ Up! store during June will receive one of these gorgeous handmade thank you cards tucked into their happy mail!

I created these cards using the sweet strawberry image from the Filled With Sweetness stamp set and stamped it three times across the front of the card.
Can I just say… this strawberry was ridiculously fun to colour!
A little time with the Stampin’ Blends and suddenly these strawberries looked juicy, cheerful and ready to steal the show. In fact, the stamped strawberry versions are definitely my favourites.
I also added a fun little embossing detail to the card front and I have to say… it made me feel very clever while still being ridiculously easy to do 😂
Using my Stampin’ Trimmer and bone folder, I created embossed lines directly onto the card front for a little extra texture and interest. First, I embossed a horizontal line at 4.5 cm across the card front, then added vertical lines every centimetre from that original line right to the edge of the card. It creates the sweetest subtle detail — simple, neat and just enough to make the card feel a little bit fancy without adding extra fuss.
Another little extra detail, I stamped one of the gorgeous border images from the Bordered in Beauty stamp set and I am slightly obsessed with how pretty it turned out. It adds just enough detail without making the card feel fussy.
For the finishing touch, I cut a label using the Filled With Sweetness dies and tucked some Misty Moonlight ribbon behind it.
Because we all know… ribbon makes everything better.
Lastly, I was having so much fun that I went ahead and stamped the envelope.

Sometimes the simplest cards end up being the ones we love the most.
Tip of the Day:
If you’re anything like me and suddenly remember you need a thank you card approximately five minutes before you actually need it (please tell me I’m not alone 😂), make yourself a batch of simple cards like these ahead of time.
And if you don’t own this exact stamp set, don’t worry for one second!
Steal the layout.
Yep, I said it.
Grab a stamp set you already own, copy the basic design and create a little stack of ready-to-go thank you cards. Then pop them in a designated spot so they’re easy to grab.
Future-you will be VERY grateful when you suddenly need a thank you card in a hurry and have a gorgeous little stash waiting for you.
Have fun everyone!!
Papery hugs,
