The card is a Fun Fold called a Gate Fold and I’ve added a cute belly band. It is a perfect make for the casual crafter or a beginner card maker looking to stretch their wings.

Penguin Place Thank You Card Recipe Preparation

1. Fresh Freesia, A4 sheet landscape cut at 14.8 cm.
2. Misty Moonlight 14.5 cm x 4.7 cm, four pieces.
3. Misty Moonlight, 14.5 cm x 10 cm.
4. Basic White, 14 cm x 9.5 cm.
5. Basic white, 22 cm x 3 cm.
6. Penguin Place patterned paper, 14 cm x 14.2 cm, four pieces.
7. Penguin Place patterned paper, 22 cm x 2.5 cm.
8. Extra piece of Fresh Freesia, punched from Label Me Lovely.
9. Basic White die cut circle to fit inside Label Me Lovely.
10. Penguin punched from Penguin Place patterned paper.
11. Biggest Wish stamp set.
12. 2021 – 2023 In-Colour Jewels.

Penguin Place Thank You Card Construction

1. Score the Fresh Freesia at 5.3 cm and 15.8 cm. Burnish with a bone folder.
2. Stamp the ‘Thanks’ sentiment on the basic white panel in Fresh Freesia. Stamp over this with ‘thanks’ in Memento.
3. Adhere the Basic White layer to the Misty Moonlight panel.
4. The Penguin Place patterned paper panels are now adhered to the Misty Moonlight panels.
5. Adhere all panels to the inside and outside of the card.
6. Align the patterned paper into the middle of the Basic White strip and glue. When dry, score at 5.6 cm and 16.2 cm. Burnish and glue the two ends together to create a paper band.
7. Adhere the die cut circle to the Fresh Freesia label and using dimensionals adhere the punched penguin image slightly off centre.
8. Randomly place three In-Colour Jewels on the label.
9. Adhere the finished label to the paper band and slide over the closed card.
10. Your Gate Fold Card is complete!
