Framed Florets in Rich Razzleberry Cards
Here are my cards:
I started with wanting to use that gorgeous sentiment from the Covered In Sunshine stamp set. When I visualised how I wanted it to look on a card I kept thinking of the heart frame in the Framed Florets dies. I also wanted the stamp set to pop out of the frame, so using Stampin’ Write Markers I coloured the words with Granny Apple Green, Balmy Blue and Rich Razzleberry.
After stamping the Covered in Sunshine stamp I adhered the die cut Rich Razzleberry onto the card front, which had been stamped with the leaf image in Rich Razzleberry. A bit of tone-on-tone effect there. Using Petal Park I stamped the outline flowers in Rich Razzleberry and Balmy Blue. I then stamped the flower petals in the same colours.
Using Granny Apple Green I stamped the leaf image from Framed Florets and coloured with a Granny Apple Green pencil, before die cutting. Finally I punched the bough in Granny Apple Green card stock.
I then arranged the flowers and leaves and adhered when I was happy with the layout. Milky dots complete the centre of the flowers.
Card 2
After die cutting the heart image in Rich Razzleberry I was left with an oval and an oval frame. I decided that the oval frame would look great front and centre on a card with a sentiment inside the frame.
Viola!
More leaves and flowers were arranged around the frame.
It was then that I thought…”It’s missing something”. Enter the Timber embossing folder. So, yes! I ran the entire layer, frame and flowers, through the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine. And…
I love it!
I completed the card with some more milky dots and adhered the embossed layer to a Rich Razzleberry card base.
Card 3
The final oval was stamped with a sentiment in versamark and then heat embossed in Basic Black. A Basic White layer was embossed with the Cane Weave embossing folder. The oval was adhered to the centre of the layer and leaves and flowers were arranged around the base of the oval.
Card 4
There were some leaves and flowers left over and thought they would look adorable as a wreath. I love wreath cards, but I never make them often enough! I embossed another Basic White layer with the Cane Weave embossing folder. Arranged the leaves and flowers and finished of the card with a stamped label from Quiet Meadow, some twine and, of course, milky dots.
Thank you for stopping by today. I am excited to explore ways you can save time and organise your card making supplies so that busy card makers like you can make more cards, more often. To sum up, that’s what it means to be ‘eager to stamp’!
